About Us

Our mission is simple: make the calm, warm look of a Nordic home easy to bring into any room, without design-store prices and without sorting through thousands of listings. Finial Interiors sells the pieces a home uses every day: wall lights and pendants, table lamps, wall clocks, candle holders, prints, trays and boards, hooks, baskets, bath and sauna pieces. We grow the range one piece at a time. Every piece is here for a reason, every product page is written by us, and every message gets an answer from someone who knows the products.

Finial Interiors is run by Mäki Management Oy from Tampere, Finland. We started the shop in 2026 because the look we grew up with, pale wood, brass, rattan and warm light, was surprisingly hard to find online in one honest, well-edited place. So we built one.

WHO WE ARE HERE FOR

For people furnishing a real home, not a showroom

Our customers are moving into a first apartment, refreshing one tired room, or finally replacing the lighting they have put up with for years. They like the Nordic look: light, wood, texture, nothing shouting. They do not want to spend a weekend comparing four hundred sconces, so we do the comparing.

Renters find no-drill hooks, plug-in wall lights and table lamps here. Homeowners find the hardwired sconces, pendants and wall clocks that carry a room. Sauna and bath lovers find the wooden buckets, felt hats and thermometers that are hard to find outside Finland.

HOW WE WORK

Before you order

Every product page tells you the material, the finish, the size, the fitting, and what is in the box and what is not, down to the bulb. If something is not right, unused items can be returned within 30 days of delivery.

Every order ships by tracked post, and you get the tracking number by email as soon as the parcel is on its way. We answer questions ourselves, and we would rather tell you a lamp is wrong for your ceiling than sell it to you.

Why Finland

Finland is a country of small homes, long dark winters and a lot of wood. Light matters here in a way it does not in warmer places: a good lamp is not decoration, it is how you get through November. Wood, linen, stone and rattan are the materials that age well in a home that is used hard, and a sauna is not a luxury but a Tuesday. That is the eye we bring to everything we choose to sell.

Where we are heading

By autumn 2028 we want Finial Interiors to be the first place people look for Nordic-style lighting and wall decor outside the Nordics. Three concrete goals:

A wider lighting range. Wall lights and pendants first, then more table and floor lamps, every one chosen the same way as today.
More countries, local prices. Customers in Europe already pay in euros, and Australia and New Zealand opened in September 2026. More markets follow as we get the shipping right for each one.
A sauna and bath range that lives up to the Finnish name. Buckets, ladles, thermometers, hats and the lights that belong in a sauna.

And what we will not do on the way there: fake reviews, countdown timers or crossed-out prices that were never charged.
