Bamboo Sofa Armrest Tray, Foldable Couch Cup Holder and Side Table for Living Room, Anti-Slip
Bamboo Sofa Armrest Tray, Foldable Couch Cup Holder and Side Table for Living Room, Anti-Slip
A flat surface for the mug and the phone, without a side table.
Details
This bamboo sofa armrest tray folds over the arm of the couch and turns it into a level shelf, so the side table becomes optional. On top sits a small raised box with a cup holder for the mug and a slot for the phone, so neither slides off when you shift. The slatted bamboo drapes over the arm and an anti-slip pad underneath keeps the whole thing from moving. Without that pad a tray on a soft arm would slide the first time you lean.
Give it to whoever keeps leaving a mug on the floor. Tea, phone, remote and a bowl of something sit at elbow height on a level surface, which a padded armrest cannot offer. It doubles as an armchair tray, a couch arm table or a living room cup holder wherever a side table would crowd the seating, and bamboo looks right against linen, velvet or leather.
The tray is bamboo. Its flat top section is 13 cm (5.1 in) wide, so it suits armrests from 13 cm wide; on a wider arm the slats simply drape over the sides. Measure the top of your arm first. Finished with it? It folds flat and slips behind the sofa, taking the space of a book, not a piece of furniture. Mop up spills at once with a damp cloth and dry it, do not let a wet mug sit on it, and brush crumbs and dust off the anti-slip pad so it keeps gripping.

Why it earns its place
Grips the arm
It folds over the armrest and an anti-slip pad holds it in place, so the mug does not go over when you shift.
Fits arms from 13 cm
The flat top section is 13 cm (5.1 in) wide and the slats drape over wider arms. Measure the top of yours before ordering.
Folds flat
When you are done it folds and slides behind the sofa, so the living room does not get another permanent object.
In your home
It lives on the sofa arm nearest the person who always ends up with a mug on the floor. A cup of tea, the phone, the remote and a bowl of something all sit on a flat, level surface at elbow height, which is what a soft armrest never gives you. It works on an armchair just as well.
Bamboo sits with a linen or velvet sofa and with leather, and it does not clash with whatever the coffee table is made of. Fold it flat and slide it behind the sofa when guests are coming.
Materials and quality
The tray is slatted bamboo, folded so that it hangs over the arm and rests flat on top, with a small raised box on top that holds a mug in its own compartment and a phone in a slot. An anti-slip pad on the underside is what makes it work: without it, a tray on a soft arm slides the moment you lean. The flat top section is 13 cm (5.1 in) wide, so it suits armrests from 13 cm wide; measure yours before ordering. The whole thing folds flat, which means it stores like a book rather than a piece of furniture.
Care and everyday use
Wipe spills off the bamboo straight away with a damp cloth and dry it; do not leave a wet mug base standing on it. Keep the anti-slip pad free of crumbs and dust so it keeps its grip. Fold it flat and stand it behind the sofa when it is not in use.

Does it need fixing to the sofa?
No. It folds over the arm and the anti-slip pad holds it. Lift it off whenever you like.
Where does it go when I am not using it?
Fold it flat and slide it behind the sofa or into a cupboard. It takes very little room.
