A round ceramic jar in a matte, speckled beige glaze, topped with a half-moon wood-tone lid that flips up on a small hinge pin. A small notch in the front rim makes room for the handle of a scoop.

It is about the size of a coffee mug, made for salt, sugar, coffee or tea on the counter. Choose a Single Jar, a Set of 2 with Tray or a Set of 3 with Tray to keep a row of them together.

Wash the jar by hand and dry it before refilling. Wipe the wood-tone lid with a damp cloth.

Materials and quality

The jar is ceramic with a matte beige glaze flecked with darker speckles, and the lid has a natural wood tone. Instead of a loose lid, it is a half-moon piece on a small hinge pin that flips up and back down, and a notch in the front rim makes room for a scoop. The jar is about the size of a coffee mug. The two sets come with a tray that holds the jars side by side.

Care and everyday use

Wash the ceramic jar by hand in warm, soapy water and let it dry fully before you refill it, so salt and sugar stay loose. Wipe the wood-tone lid with a damp cloth rather than soaking it, dry it straight away and keep the jar a little away from the heat of the stove.
