Details

A minimalist bud vase in colored glass, built from stacked glass bubbles in two tones. In Amber and Smoke, a small amber ball with a tiny opening sits on top of a large smoky clear bubble and a small smoky foot, so the light shines through both colors.

The Amber and Smoke vase is 20 cm tall and 9 cm wide. The other styles are Green and Amber Pitcher and Green Stacked. Use it for a single flower stem, a few grasses or a cutting rooting in water, where you can watch the roots grow through the glass.

Rinse it with warm water, change the water every few days and dry the outside with a soft cloth.

Three styles

Amber and Smoke, Green and Amber Pitcher or Green Stacked, each a small sculpture on its own.

Flowers or cuttings

Hold one stem, or root a cutting in water and watch it grow through the glass.

In your home

Put it on a sunny windowsill and the colored glass glows when the light comes through. One stem of ranunculus, a sprig of eucalyptus or a pothos cutting in water is all it needs.

It also works on a desk, a bathroom shelf or the middle of a small dining table. The amber and green tones suit warm wood, brass and white walls, and two different styles side by side make a playful pair.

Materials and quality

The vase is glass in two colored tones, formed as stacked bubbles. In the Amber and Smoke style, the small amber ball on top has a tiny opening for a stem, the large smoky bubble in the middle holds the water, and a small smoky bubble forms the foot. It is 20 cm tall and 9 cm wide, and works as a bud vase or a small hydroponic vase for a cutting.

Care and everyday use

Rinse the vase with warm water and change the water every few days so it stays clear. Because the opening is narrow, swirl warm soapy water inside, then rinse well and let it drain upside down. Wipe the outside with a soft cloth, and set it on a stable surface away from the edge of the shelf.
