Details

A single glass tealight holder in Amber or Green, with either fine vertical ribs or a raised hobnail pattern. The glass softens the flame into a warm halo, and the walls rise around the tealight to keep a draft from the window off it.

The Amber, Ribbed is 7 cm wide and 8.3 cm tall, a straight, slightly tapered cylinder with walls about 3 mm thick. It takes a standard tealight: use one on its own by the bath, or line several up along the dining table.

The tealight is not included. The wide mouth makes it easy to lift out the used tealight and wipe the glass clean.

Two colors, two textures

Amber or Green, each with fine Ribbed lines or a Hobnail pattern.

Borosilicate glass

Heat-resistant glass with walls about 3 mm thick and smooth, rounded edges.

Wide mouth

The open top makes it easy to drop in a tealight and to wipe the glass clean.

In your home

Put one on the edge of the bath, the bedside table or a windowsill, or set four in a row along the dining table and mix Amber and Green. Ribbed and Hobnail side by side look like a collected set of vintage glass.

Amber suits oak, rattan, cream and autumn flowers; Green looks right with linen, brass and fresh greenery. On a balcony table in the evening, the glass walls keep the small flame out of a light breeze.

Materials and quality

The holder is heat-resistant borosilicate glass with walls about 3 mm thick, a smooth surface and polished, rounded edges. The Ribbed style is covered in fine vertical lines and the Hobnail in small raised dots, and both glow when the tealight is lit. The Amber, Ribbed is 7 cm wide and 8.3 cm tall, a straight cylinder that tapers slightly. Each order is one holder.

Care and everyday use

Let the glass cool after the tealight burns down, then lift out the empty cup. Wipe the inside with a soft cloth, or hand wash in warm, soapy water and dry with a lint-free towel. Keep lit candles away from curtains and anything that can catch fire, and never leave a flame unattended.
