This glossy sphere wall lamp hides its light source. A 20 cm enameled metal sphere sits on a hidden plate, and the light comes from behind it and reaches the wall as a ring; the sphere itself stays dark. You never see a bulb, and the sphere seems to float. Three color temperatures are built in, and the sphere keeps its color whichever you choose.
Beside the bed it replaces a table lamp and leaves the nightstand clear, and a halo is a calmer thing to sleep beside.
