A large macrame wall hanging in creamy white cotton rope, woven by hand and hung from a wooden dowel. Knotted rows and draped scallops run across the top, a braided column with two small beads and a long tassel falls down the center, and a long, dense fringe ends in a V at the bottom.
It measures 80 x 83 cm, 80 cm wide and 83 cm long, big enough to fill the wall above a sofa, a bed or a sideboard on its own. Because each piece is woven by hand, the knots vary slightly and no two are exactly alike.
Comb the tassels straight when you first hang it, and shake it out now and then to lift the dust.
