This marble sphere wall light is a ball of natural stone with the LED inside it, so the marble itself is the shade. The dark veins appear as shadows within the glow, not as a pattern on the surface, because the light passes through the stone. At 12 cm across it is deliberately small: one point of warm light, not a fixture that fills the wall. Hardwired, so nothing hangs below it.
One sphere at eye height finishes a bare hallway wall, and two along a corridor light the way to bed at night.
