A plain cover in 100% linen with an envelope closure at the back, no zip to catch and nothing to break. Linen has a dry, cool feel and a soft crumple, and it gets softer every time it is washed.

It comes in natural, white and light grey, in 18 x 18 inches / 45 x 45 cm for square cushions or 12 x 20 inches / 30 x 50 cm for lumbar cushions. The cover is sold on its own, without an insert.

Machine wash it at a low temperature and dry it on a line or flat. Leave the natural creases or iron it slightly damp for a smoother finish.

Why it earns its place

100% linen

A cool, dry-feeling fabric with a soft crumple that looks better the more it is used.

Envelope back

The insert slides in behind an overlapping flap, with no zip to catch or break.

Three quiet colours

Natural, white and light grey sit easily with pale sofas, white bedding and oak.

In your home

Put natural covers on a white bed for a simple, hotel-like finish, or use white and light grey together on a grey sofa. The lumbar size sits across the front of the pillows or in the small of an armchair.

Linen pairs with wool, rattan and pale wood, and it looks right in both summer and winter. Keep a spare set in another colour and change the room in two minutes.

Materials and quality

The cover is made from 100% linen, woven plain and dyed in solid colours. Linen is strong, breathes well and softens with every wash, keeping its natural slight crease. The back closes with an envelope flap, so there is no zip to fail, and the cover comes on its own in two sizes.

Care and everyday use

Machine wash at a low temperature with similar colours and a mild detergent, then line dry or dry flat. Skip bleach and the tumble dryer to avoid shrinking. Iron slightly damp on a medium setting if you prefer a crisp look, or leave the natural creases.
