A flat, rectangular serving board with softly rounded corners, made of ceramic in a white marble pattern with soft gray veining. It brings the cool, clean look of a marble slab to cheese, crackers, sushi and sweets.

Choose 25 cm / 10 in, about the length of a table knife, or 30 cm / 12 in for a bigger spread. Lay out cheese and charcuterie, a row of sushi or a few slices of cake, and carry it straight to the table. Each order is one board.

Materials and quality

The board is ceramic with a white marble pattern and soft gray veining, shaped as a flat rectangle with softly rounded corners. The pale pattern gives cheese, cured meat and fruit a clean background, and the flat surface makes it easy to arrange a spread. It comes in two lengths, 25 cm / 10 in and 30 cm / 12 in. As with most ceramic pieces, a tiny dark speck or pinhole can show here and there.

Care and everyday use

Wash the board by hand in warm, soapy water with a soft sponge and dry it straight away. Serve on it rather than cut on it: slice cheese and bread on a cutting board first, and skip scouring pads. Keep it away from the stove and other direct heat sources, and store it flat.
