Retro handmade stoneware in a Japanese style, sold piece by piece: a rice bowl, a sauce dish, a larger bowl and a plate, all round and in a solid glaze. The Rice Bowl, 12.5 cm has a rough, matte oatmeal-beige glaze full of brown and black flecks, faint throwing rings and a slightly darker rim.

Choose the piece you need: Rice Bowl, 12.5 cm, which stands 4.5 cm tall; Sauce Dish, 9 cm, for soy sauce, dips or butter; Bowl, 18 cm, for soup, noodles or salad; or Plate, 22 cm, for a main course or a slice of cake. Each order is one piece, so you can build a set at your own pace.

It can go in the microwave, the dishwasher and the oven. Small dark specks, thin patches of glaze or tiny bubbles are part of how it is made, so every piece is slightly different.

Because of the way it is made, individual pieces can have small dark spots, thin patches of glaze or tiny bubbles. It is made for daily use and can go in the microwave, the dishwasher and the oven.

Care and everyday use

It can go in the dishwasher, the microwave and the oven, so it needs no special treatment. Let a hot piece cool before it goes into cold water, and avoid knocking the rims together when you stack them. A soft sponge is enough for washing by hand; scouring pads can dull a matte glaze over time.
