Why it earns its place
Raised numbers
The Arabic numerals 1 to 12 stand out from the dial; on Emerald Green they are gold, inside a thin gold rim.
Four colors
Emerald Green, Olive Green, Black or White and Gold, for a kitchen, a study or a living room wall.
Silent quartz
No ticking, and it runs on one AA battery, which is not included.
In your home
Hang it in the kitchen above the table, in a study or home office, or in the living room among framed prints. At 25 cm across it suits a smaller wall, the gap between two shelves or the space above a doorway.
Emerald Green and Olive Green pair with brass, walnut, cream walls and plants; Black suits white kitchens and black hardware; White and Gold keeps a pale room bright. The raised numbers give it a vintage feel for a retro or classic room.
Materials and quality
The clock has a plastic frame with a round dial and raised Arabic numerals 1 to 12 that stand out from the face. On the Emerald Green version, a thin shiny gold rim, gold numerals, gold minute ticks and slim gold hands sit on the deep green dial. It is 25 cm across, with a silent quartz movement that runs on one AA battery, which is not included.
Care and everyday use
Dust the clock with a soft, dry cloth and use a barely damp cloth for marks, drying it afterwards. Do not spray cleaner onto the face or the gold details. Hang it away from steam and direct heat, and when the hands slow down, fit a new AA battery and make sure it sits correctly in the slot.
