Retro Wood Wall Lamp, Vintage E27 Sconce for Bedside, Bedroom and Living Room, Wood Base, White or Black
An exposed E27 socket on a flat backplate, softened for a bedroom.
Details
This retro wood wall lamp is a flat backplate with an exposed E27 socket, which softens the industrial look enough for a bedroom rather than a workshop. Backplate, socket and switch are the whole build, so fewer parts can rattle or fail, and a standard E27 fitting takes any ordinary bulb, LED filament or otherwise. No bulb comes with it; a warm filament bulb turns the bare socket from unfinished to intentional.
Beside the bed is where it belongs, one each side at about pillow height so two people can read with the ceiling light off. It also works in a pair above a sofa or alone over a desk in a living room corner. A bare-bulb vintage look wants plain walls, wood and linen; the bulb sets the mood, warm filament for soft amber. White fades into a pale wall; black frames the fitting.
Iron body, wood base, E27 socket, rated for 90-260V, in white or black, with a knob or touch on/off switch on the lamp itself so it goes off from the bed. A dry cloth on the backplate and socket is enough; never spray cleaner near the socket. Kill the power before a bulb change and let a filament bulb cool. Hardwired, so no cord runs down the wall.

Why it earns its place
Bulb not included
Choose your own E27 bulb. A warm filament bulb is what makes the exposed socket look intentional rather than unfinished.
White or black
White disappears into a pale wall and lets the bulb do the work; black frames it as a fitting in its own right.
Switch on the lamp
An on/off switch on the fitting itself, so you can turn it off from the bed without a second wall switch.

In your home
Beside the bed is where this one belongs, mounted at about pillow height on each side so both of you can read without the ceiling light on. It also works as a pair over a sofa, or as a single lamp over a desk in the corner of a living room.
It is a bare-bulb look, so it pairs with plain walls, wood and linen rather than anything busy. The bulb you choose sets the mood: a warm filament bulb gives the soft amber that suits a bedroom, a bright one turns it back into a workshop lamp. It is hardwired, so no cord runs down the wall.
Materials and quality
The construction is simple: a flat backplate, an E27 socket standing proud of it and a switch. Fewer parts means fewer things to rattle or fail, and the standard E27 fitting means a bulb from any supermarket will fit, LED filament or otherwise. It is rated for 90-260V. The socket is the design, so the bulb you put in matters as much as the fitting itself, and that is a decision you get to make.
Care and everyday use
Dust the backplate and socket with a dry cloth. Switch off at the wall before changing the bulb, and let a filament bulb cool first. Avoid spraying cleaner near the socket; wipe with a barely damp cloth if needed and dry it straight away. There is nothing else to maintain.
Good to know
Is a bulb included?
You choose the bulb: it takes a standard E27 (not included), and a warm filament one suits it best.
Does it have a plug?
It is hardwired into the wall rather than plugged in, so there is no cord on show.
Can I switch it off at the lamp?
Yes, there is an on/off switch on the fitting.
