Striped Linen Cotton Napkins Set of 12, Cloth Dinner Napkins and Tea Towels for Kitchens, Cafés and Bulk Wholesale Orders, Grey or Beige
Twelve striped cloths that work as napkins one night and tea towels the next.
Details
These striped linen cotton napkins are cut to work as tea towels too, which is why twelve is the right number rather than too many. The cloth dries glasses without shedding lint, and it still looks tidy beside a plate. Linen brings absorbency and fast drying; cotton keeps it soft enough for a lap.
Half the set hangs from the rail on the oven and the hook next to the sink, where they dry glasses and wipe the board. The rest live folded in the table drawer, and on weeknights each plate gets one. Gray stripe suits a kitchen of white tile and steel; beige stripe belongs with a wooden countertop (or worktop) and cream cabinets. When the whole family comes for lunch, all twelve get used, on laps and under hot dishes.
Cotton, linen and polyester blend, 12 x 16 inches (30 x 40 cm), a rectangle rather than a square, so it is the dish towel shape and still folds neatly beside a plate. Choose gray stripe or beige stripe; twelve cloths per set. Machine wash cold, and often, since the blend improves with use. Skip fabric softener, which coats the fibers so they stop absorbing, and keep bleach off the stripe. Only the ones headed for the table need an iron, if that.

Why it earns its place
Napkin or tea towel
The same cloth dries glasses without leaving lint and is presentable enough to go on the table, so twelve is not too many.
Grey or beige stripe
Two colourways: grey stripe for a cooler kitchen with steel and white, beige stripe for wood and warmer tones.
12 x 16 in
A rectangle rather than a square, 30 x 40 cm, which is the tea towel shape and also folds neatly beside a plate.

In your home
In the kitchen, half of them live on the oven rail and the hook by the sink, drying glasses and wiping down the board. The other half sit folded in the drawer by the table, and on a weeknight one goes beside each plate.
The grey stripe suits a kitchen with white tiles and steel; the beige stripe goes with a wooden worktop and cream cupboards. Either looks right on a bare wooden table with everyday plates. On a big family lunch, all twelve come out: some on laps, some under the hot dishes.
Materials and quality
A blend of 40% cotton, 20% linen and 40% polyester. Linen gives the absorbency and the quick drying that make a good tea towel; cotton keeps the cloth soft enough to use as a napkin. They dry glasses without leaving lint behind, which is the test most cheap tea towels fail, and they still look presentable folded beside a plate. Twelve cloths, all 12 x 16 in, in the grey or beige stripe you choose.
Care and everyday use
Machine wash cold, and wash them often; the cloth gets softer and more absorbent with use, not less. Hang to dry where you can. No fabric softener, which coats the fibres and stops them absorbing, and no bleach on the stripe. Iron only the ones going on the table, if at all.
Good to know
How big are they?
12 x 16 in, or 30 x 40 cm. A rectangle, which is tea towel shaped and folds neatly beside a plate.
Is twelve too many?
Not when half of them are tea towels. Twelve cloths in one colourway, so there are always clean ones in rotation.
Will they leave fluff on glasses?
No. They are absorbent enough to dry glasses without leaving lint, which is what the linen in the blend is for.
Do you offer bulk pricing?
