This travertine stone wall light is a solid block of stone with an LED sealed inside, and the light leaves only through the top and bottom edges. That gives two fans of light up and down the wall, no visible bulb and no glare in the room. The pores and banding are natural, so no two pieces match.
Indoors it works as a hallway light or a stairwell light, fitted at eye height, where a pair on one wall gives a flat surface shadow and depth without dazzling anyone walking past. Outdoors it is an IP65 rated exterior wall sconce for either side of the front door, a porch wall or a garden wall, and the same rating suits a bathroom wall light beside the basin mirror. It pairs with lime plaster, pale oak, brass and linen.

Wipe the stone with a dry or barely damp cloth, never an acidic cleaner, which etches travertine.
