An over-the-door hanger for the space behind the bedroom, bathroom or hall door: a slim metal bracket hooks over the top of the door, and round wooden pegs line a wavy crossbar. The round wooden heads are smooth and scratch-resistant, so coats and knitwear do not snag.

Choose Black or White, with 6 or 8 hooks. The six-hook version measures 30 cm wide and 23 cm tall. It fits standard doors up to 4.5 cm thick; before you hang it, make sure there is a gap between the door and the frame.

There is no drilling: tap it gently onto the top of the door. Wipe it with a dry cloth and keep it out of long spells of damp.
