This wooden sauna sand timer is an hourglass in a wooden frame that mounts on the wall, so you can time a session from the bench without taking a phone into the heat. There is no mechanism: turn it over and the sand runs, turn it back and it resets. There is no battery and no screen, nothing the heat can bother.
Fix it on the sauna wall at eye level from the bench and you can watch the sand without lifting your head from the backrest. Flip it as you sit down and stop guessing how long you have been in.
