This black iron wall lamp is a single plain form with a standard E27 socket and no shade, so the bulb you choose sets the look. A bare filament bulb gives it a bar look; a frosted globe turns it into reading light. The iron body has a black finish, it is hardwired rather than trailing a cord to an outlet, and its 90-260V rating means it runs on either mains standard with no adapter. No bulb is included.
The classic spot is one sconce each side of the bed, on a switch within reach of the pillow, which leaves the nightstand or bedside table clear of a lamp base. It also works as a hallway wall light or above a bathroom mirror, provided it stays out of the spray zone of the shower and bath, since it is not a wet-area fitting. Black iron goes with white plaster, brick, dark green paint and oak headboards in an industrial or Nordic bedroom.
