This LED wall sconce is a flat aluminum bar that washes light up and down the wall instead of at you, so it is comfortable to sit beside. The acrylic shade spreads the LED along the bar rather than showing it as points. Touch to switch it on or off; the LED is built in.
Beside the sofa it gives reading light without a floor lamp. In the bedroom, one either side of the bed replaces the bedside lamps and clears the nightstands. In a hallway the longer bar lights the wall top to bottom. Black on a white wall draws a line you notice; white on white almost disappears and only the light remains.
