This vintage candle holder set gives you three aluminum candlesticks in graduated heights. Three different levels make a cluster read as arranged rather than lined up, and the effect holds from whichever side of the table you sit. The proportions are already worked out, so you set them down and they look composed.

Group all three in the center of the dining table, or space them down a longer table with a runner between. On a mantel they work at one end, tallest nearest the wall. For a wedding or anniversary table, one set per table lights the room without crowding the place settings, which is why these taper candle holders serve as table centerpieces as often as sideboard decor at home.

They come in black or gold. Black disappears against dark wood, slate and charcoal linen and leaves the flames to do the work; gold warms cream cloth, oak and stoneware. Care and everyday use
