A good board gets used every day and looks better for it. This collection is the shop's solid wood and bamboo boards and trays: walnut coffee trays for the sofa table, end-grain teak and acacia cutting boards that spare your knives, an extra-long serving paddle for a party, Japanese tea trays, oval serving platters and a small acacia sink tray for the soap.
Solid wood asks for three things: wash by hand, dry standing up and oil now and then with food-safe mineral oil. The product pages state the wood as it actually is, the dimensions in inches and centimetres and whether a board has a juice groove or a handle. Trays with raised edges are the ones to carry coffee across a room.
Plates, bowls and utensils are in trays and serving; linen for the same table in table runners and tablecloths.
